West Bengal 10th and 12th state board exam dates announced
Board exams play an important role in shaping the career of any student. The scores that the student gets in the Board exam are vital for the future prospects of the student. The West Bengal Board Exam for Class 10th or the SSE will begin from February 23rd, 2015, while the Class 12th or the HSE will begin from 12th and 13th March, 2015. While the 10th class exam would be conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, the 12th exam would be conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is the autonomous authority for examining the standard 10 examination, also known as the Madhyamik Pariksha or secondary examination, and is administered by the state government of West Bengal. The exams are conducted once a year all over the state and also in affiliates of the board located outside West Bengal, elsewhere in India. Each year, more than 10, 50,000 examines attend the exams.
The West Bengal Council is the state government administered autonomous examining authority for the 12th standard examination. The 12th standard exam is known as higher secondary level or Pre-university level examination or the Uchyaa Madhyamik examination. This exam is also conducted annually once in the state, and in affiliates of the board located outside West Bengal, wherever in India.
