Recruitment for 400 Plus Arts and Science Graduates by Indian Army
Indian Army seeks applications from male candidates for recruitment to the post of Havildar Education Arts and Science. The recruitment will be in Army Educational Corps.
The total number of vacancies is 437. The number of vacancies for Science stream is 299 and Arts candidates can apply for 138 positions.
Those who desire to apply for the above positions should have the following qualifications.
They should possess working knowledge of English and Hindi. They should have graduation in any of the following streams.
MA/BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology or Economics.
The candidates should not be less than 20 years in Age and should not be more than 25 years in age.
Candidates who need to apply to any of the above positions shall have to pass the physical test followed by medical examination. This will be followed by a written examination of the subject concerned in which the candidates desire to appear.
Those who are able to clear the written examination will thereafter be called for the teaching aptitude test and interview. Candidates must note that the last date for applying to the above positions is 10th January, 2015.
Written Examination Pattern:
Part-I of the examination is compulsory for all the candidates and will comprise of 50 questions on General Knowledge and English. The question paper will be of 50 marks and to qualify the same, the candidates need to secure a minimum of 20 marks.
Those applying for Science stream vacancies will have to appear in an examination where they will be tested for knowledge on mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science. The candidates are required to attempt all the questions. Minimum pass marks in this exam will be 20.
Those applying for Arts stream vacancies will have to appear in an examination where they will be tested for knowledge on mathematics, history, geography, political science and economics. The candidates are required to attempt all the questions. Minimum pass marks in this exam will be 20.
The candidates are required to qualify both Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates should note that OMR sheet will be used for the examination and the candidates can consult the centre staff if they find any difficulty in using the OMR sheet for answering the questions.Candidates can leave their comments for the regarding post.
