Recruitment for 2.5 Lakh Group C posts by UPSSSB

Recruitment for 2.5 lakh positions in Group C category has been finalized by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Board. The notification of recruitment to these posts is likely to be issued by early January next year.

Notification issued to concerned departments:

A notification to this effect has been issued by Department of Recruitment and Personnel to this effect. A detailed note to secretaries of all departments on information about vacant positions and educational qualifications has been sought. This information will then be notified to the selection board.

Earlier it was notified that the responsibility of recruiting candidates under the Group C category had been entrusted to UPPSC. However, UPPSC was dissolved by the UP government and all the responsibility of conducting recruitments has been given to UPSSSB.

The new office of UPSSSB will operate from Pickup House and the selection board will operate will help of one Director and two counsellors who have been appointed to conduct the task.

Special Note:

As all the information regarding vacancies is available, UPSSSB will be inviting applications for recruitment to these posts. The process will resume as all the information is available. The information on the written examination to be conducted for these posts and all other necessary information will be issued when the Notification gets issued in the month of January 2015.

With the process of recruitment to 2.5 Lakh posts of Group C posts making headway, unemployed youth in Uttar Pradesh can heave a sigh of relief. They will be able to get competent jobs in the coming time. It is advised that the candidates get themselves updated on all the developments in General Knowledge field. As these examinations are based on Multiple Choice Pattern, those who desire to prepare for the examinations should focus on solving some of the previously listed question papers, so as to get an idea of the complexity of the examination.
