MILITARY ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION PATTERN

PROEM: MES stands for MILITARY ENGINEERING SERVICE. In today’s competative world it is highly difficult to come across a competitive exam without having a keen idea about respective examination pattern. Because of no idea on what to prepare, candidates who are preparing facing heavy burdens and feeling more stress. So to avoid such burdens and stress we are presenting you information about the exam conducted by MES for the recruitment of following posts:

  1. Draughtsman
  2. Supervisor Barrack and store
  3. Store keeper Gde-2
  4. Civil motor driver ((OG)(CMD)(OG))
  5. Peon
  6. Chowkidar
  7. Safaiwala
  8. Chowkidar (khansama)
  9. Meter reader
  10. Caneman
  11. Mate (SSK)

The MES question paper pattern will be as follows:

MES exam paper is an objective type question paper containing 130 questions to be written in 2 hours of time. Each question corresponds to 1 mark. The question paper pattern conducted by MES will be of two types. One for peon, chowkidar, safaiwala and caneman and the other for remaining posts.

Examination pattern for the recruitments of peon, chowkidar, safaiwala and caneman:

  • 25 questions from general intelligence and reasoning
  • 25 questions from numerical aptitude
  • 25 questions from general engineering
  • 55 questions from general awareness

Examination pattern for the recruitments for remaining posts:

  • 25 questions from general intelligence and reasoning
  • 25 questions from numerical aptitude
  • 30 questions from general engineering and general awareness
  • 50 questions from specialized trade topic
